Leo, especially, is getting older, and I cherish every precious moment with him. I can’t help but wonder if they will miss me as much as I will miss them.

From venturing into the rugged backcountry of Utah on a dirtbike to exploring remote corners of Alaska, I am filled with anticipation for the wonders that await. A visit to England will offer a connection to civilization after being in the desert, then, if time permits, traversing the Canadian continental divide trail promises to be a breathtaking experience in the lap of nature.
In the midst of these adventures, I am reminded of another precious presence in my life—my wife, Christy. She has been my rock, supporting and encouraging me throughout our journey together. Her love and understanding have fueled my passion for exploration. While I may physically be away, I carry her in my heart, and our bond strengthens with every step I take.
With these upcoming months of adventure, it has become apparent that it’s time to downsize my collection of Helderburg Defenders. I don’t want these remarkable Helderburgs to sit idle during the non-winter months while I’m away. The skilled team at the workshop is eagerly taking on new projects, ready to captivate my imagination for the coming year.
