Helderburg introduces Alex, a D90 Defender boasting meticulous craftsmanship and adventure-ready design. Paul Poats highlights its unique features, starting with the Porsche-inspired, three-stage gray paint, enhanced with a polymer sealant for easy maintenance and a deep, smooth finish.
Alex is built for durability with a 160 lbs steel bumper and a turbo diesel engine featuring a VNT Turbo and oversized intercooler. An Old Man Emu suspension with Eibach springs provides a 3-inch lift and proper wheel articulation. Details like Billet aluminum hinges and door handles with integrated lighting enhance its appeal. Rock sliders connected to the steel frame ensure off-road protection.
The interior balances comfort and utility with untinted Alpine windows and sliding side windows. The flooring features multiple layers of sound deadening for a quieter ride. A complete body-off-frame restoration ensures longevity, with a Raptor-coated frame for rust protection.
